Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the psychometric characteristics of coping resources scale of the DAPR in college students. The specific research problems are as follows. First, what is the reliability of DAPR's stress coping resources? Second, what is the validity of DAPR's stress coping resources? Third, what is the incremental validity of DAPR's stress coping resources? This study selected 250 college students in the preliminary survey and 528 college students in the main survey by the disproportional stratified sampling. The measurement tools used a Lack-SRC scoring system of the human figure test in the rain and Amirkhan's stress coping strategy test (CSI). For the data analysis, the scorers' confidence, scorer's confidence, and internal consistency were calculated. For the validity of job offerness test, Pearson's probability correlation coefficient was obtained for factor analysis and public validity test. Incremental validity test was verified by a multiple linear regression analysis. The research results obtained through this process are as follows. First, the reliability of the coping resources of the human figure test in the rain was found to be appropriate, which is judged to be a reliable measure of stress coping resources of college students. Second, the job validity and official validity of the coping resources of the human figure test in the rain were found to be appropriate, proving that it is indeed a valid tool for measuring the stress coping resources of college students. Third, the incremental validity of whether the coping resources of the human figure test in the rain can replace coping strategies is also deemed as an appropriate measure at this time.
